Aroma: Very yeasty. Fruity, banana. Banana bread. Bready. Spicy, cloves. Bubblegum. Dark fruits.
Looks: Very dark brown with ruby red highlights. Small-off white head that pulls a disappearing act like you wouldn't believe (poor head retention). No lace.
Taste: Brown sugar, cloves & spicy, yeasty flavours. It reminds me of guava ( a tropical fruit) juice. Banana. Alcohol bites your tongue.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Average carbonation. Alcohol bites your tongue.
Overall, I like it, but I prefer the wiezenbock much more.
Serving type: bottle
