Whoops! I let a bunch of sediment fall into the glass.. guess that's ok, it's loaded with vitamin B, right?
Although there is not really any head there is alot of carbonation and it can be felt immediately on the first sip. The color is a nearly opaque walnut. It smells like mollasses, prunes, baked apples and yes - alcohol. Even for an eisbock this ale is deep and rich in flavor, sweet and lingering cereal, adding a whole new dimension to my idea of what this style can be. A wonderful drinking experience.
This is a new MUST HAVE for my beer stash.
