This one is dark apricot, almost orange, in color and quite hazy. Tall creamy head was able to hold itself almost an inch above the top of my glass. Quite impressive, but now I have to wait to drink it. Damn! ... The yeast from the bottom of the bottle has turned this beer almost brown. Hints of banana and yeast for a second, but after that there is quite a freakishly sweet aroma that smells like fresh wort before the hops. This has been common in most of the alkoholfrei beers I've had, and at the stronger end of the spectrum in this beer. The flavor is damn near gross. Freakishly sweet with barely a hint of Hefeweizen. Grainy flavors mixed with articial sweetener and an underlying citrus twang. Mouthfeel is soft and not too watery. It has flavor, which is good, but unfortunately that flavor is quite bad. Get rid of the sweetness and bring in some yeast flavors and I'm in. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to promote other beers in a review, but the Pyraser version is much better.
