Kathmandu is crazy. Enjoying some rare electricity right now, and as few beers. Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a light golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, some light grains. Taste is a little off putting, some grains, mild plastics, I would have gone with "adjunct" lager on the beer style. Feels light in the mouth and overall, drinkable I suppose, but nothing special.

Beer bottle (65 cl.), tasted in 2009 (Kathmandu, Gorkha, Pokhara).

Appearance : golden color, with white foamy head (not persistent).
Smell : sweet malty aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : fruity and herbal flavours, with a mild finishing bitterness.
Drinkability : an average beer in the style Lager.

Had this beer in Yokosuka, Japan. Haven't found it yet in the US. This is a pale lager and I found it refreshing, particularly when paired with hot Japanese chicken curry.
