Stopped in here twice in the last two weeks and both times I left impressed.
From the outside it looks like any other liquor store along the road to the beach but once you go through the doors you instantly realize this is not your typical liquor store. The atmosphere is pretty good. Lots of displays all over the place with all the prices clearly marked on the shelves. Plenty of people shopping all over the large L shaped store. The service was good. On both occasions I had no less than five different employee's ask if I needed help.
The quality was as you would expect, top notch. They have so many different beers that you would be hard pressed to find one you didn't want to try. I did notice a few beers that I wouldn't have on my shelves still but if they want to sell year plus old european IPA's then by all means. The prices where very good, but I am from PA where they are way to high to begin with. I got five top notch bottles and I think I paid about $50 bucks.
The selection was simply put, amazing. Beers from all over the world with an emphasis on US and European beers. I got the last bottle of Cantillon they had, a 375ml Rosé De Gambrinus and I also picked up a Drie Fonteinen - Oude Geuze, Stillwater - BA Stateside Saison, De Molen - Hel & Verdoemenis, and a De Dolle - Extra Export Stout. I would have loved to pick up a few more of the De Dolle's but I was already spending more than I planned, maybe next time.
Overall one of the best beers stores I have ever been to. I will stop every time I am in the area now. Can't wait for my next trip to the beach!
