a deep yellow. slightly hazey. which id didnt expect from such a generic brand.
there was a hint of head, and i even poured slightly faster to see what i could do
for a head. didnt help. this beer has very little head. if thats ur thing ..right on..
i prefer to have at least a bit. just adds to the experience of a beer.
deceivingly carbornated. looks to be not so much..but past the haze..its in there.
more grains than anything. reminds me of an american adjunct. with a bit less bite
and a slight cabbagey smell i cant quite figure out. not offensive..just reminds me a bit of some more domestic type beers ive had..major grassy notes also.
lagery. smooth. not so sharp. but still crisp. ..yeah i suppose fresh and crisp are good descriptives. has a malty finish. nothing strong..but nothing about this beer is strong
probably best served somewhat warm. in a plastic cup, at a premier league match.
seems like pretty basic beer. but it has some qualities that are endearing.
its very good for drinking alot of. i enjoy it along with the usuals.
its a bit of stretch to be considering this beer a pilsner.
as the classification says.
its no where near dry on the finish.
and fails in the comparison to even cheaper pilsners.
but im not knocking it here..
its got a purpose.
but its hardly pilsner.
goes down like a draft. (on tap..not this bottles "draught" nonsense)..
nice level carb. good range of flavour. if anything id say they should make
a slightly higher abv version. and id be a frequent flier..
pretty much .very good. not the best. but definatly worth a sip. i regular this beer when i plan on watching some soccer highlights. sunday afternoon waxing the car. really just a slightly better than average "drinkers beer"..perfect for hooligans and malcontents.perfect for a beer to drink when you dont want the bloaty feeling of foamy numbers.crisp and clean. drink some when ur on the go. makes a good hiking/ camping brew.
(interestingly enough ..its stated on the can that its "imported premium beer".)
tastes pretty similar to some more basic canadian offerings ive had the mild pleasure of sampling over the years)..seems kind of odd..i know they talked about brewing it in canada here..like moosehead green. but with a cleaner finish. and less malt.
