Poured into a pint glass, golden amber hue with small white head. Nice nose full of grapefruit. Malty sweetness is only slightly peirced by hop bitterness. Grapefruit is inviting on the finish. Mouth is light and buttery. Yum. More malty than most IPAs but enjoyable none the less.

Poured from a Growler I purchased 1 day prior to tasting from the brewery. I believe when I was there this was called simply the IPA, which could have stood for Indian Pale Ale, but they might have changed the name, so I'm not sure if this is the proper place to review this beer.
But I digress. This beer has a 2-finger head with fantastic lacing that goes all the way down. Had an unfiltered body the color of well-worn leather.
The smell was potent: resin, dandelions, flowers and pine needles abounded from this beer. Very aromatic.
This beer packs a lot of flavor in. The cascade hops add some amazing floral notes on top of a crisp, well-rounded bitterness. The pine-tar flavors mellow as the beer warms, but the flavors throughout are pitch-perfect.
Mouthfeel is substantial and well-rounded. Nice bread notes on the swallow contribute to a smooth after-taste.
The drinkability is good only because the flavor is so pleasant and unique. This beer really does mature as you drink it, and it makes you want another one to revisit the initial wow of the fresh pour.
In all, it's a shame this beer is not bottled, because more people should know how amazing it is. Truly a world-class IPA.

On draft at the brewery.
Poured a medium copper hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a full blown piney hop and a light malt sweetness.
The taste consisted of an upfront piney hop spice. Certainly a solid malt acted as the substrate for this hop explosion.
The mouthfeel was slightly thin for the style.
Overall an intensely hoppy AIPA.
