A: Golden – darkened by loads of haze – quite cloudy. Okay-size white head that settles at a reasonable speed and some fair lace.
S: Firm cloves, softer banana, and a background doughy & bready wheat. Sweet notes of lychee and bubblegum. Decent weisse character & okay strength.
T: Banana & cloves, but less so than the nose. More forward lychee sweetness. Solid wheat base, but less character than in the aroma. Some earthy yeast notes. Fiar bit of tartness as found in some hefes. Background spicy and herbal hops.
M: Just under medium body with ample carbonation. Perhaps a tad too crisp and quenching relative to the strength of flavor. Attenuated quite a bit. But good for a hot day and with food.
D: Very much an okay Hefeweizen. Not great, and a few steps behind the classics and the best American versions, but nice enough. A bit much on the lychee. Solid though & good see this level of quality coming from a smaller brew pub / micro. Better than quite a few that are out there.

hazy golden amber color was evident right away. A nice solid layer of white foam, maybe to a half an inch came up over the top, but then settled down far too qucikly, leaving behind nothing more then a slight layer of film across the top,
The aroma was good, very nice for the style, with a good sense of wheat, hints of banana and clove and a slight touches of an almost peach like smell. More solid in through the taste. Rolls across the tongue with a good amount of banana and peach flavors, hints of a light grass flavor and light grains then ruling the day on this one.

A-Cloudy orange, some carbonation, two finger head.
S-Wheat, banana and clove.
T-Wheat some slightly artificial/metallic lemon, bananas and clove. No bitterness.
M-Medium bodied, some carbonation.
O-An ok hefeweizen, nothing really pops out as great.

A - A touch clear than I was expecting very clear orange yellow with only a 1/4 inch of sticky white head.
S - Smell is much lighter than I wanted with very mild banana, mostly lemon and clove. Smell of a bit of hard water oh no...
T - As expected the flavor has a chalky yeast and hard water finish with mild lemons and clove. Not very refreshing.
M - Light to medium it wasn't too bad.
Overall nothing I would seek out again and I could even think of better examples of the style. Seek others for a good hefeweizen.

Decent, dense two-finger head. A bit hazy (appropriately so). Dark gold-amber color. A bit of sticky lace after each sip.
Classic light wheat aroma. A little bit flowery.
The flavor is a little prickly, almost peppery. There's some berry-like elements, but it is not sweet. Highly carbonated and the body doesn't really counter-balance this.

Had this one at the brewpub this past summer. Every summer I head out to lake george and always make a stop at the Adirondack Pub and Brewery for a meal and a few brews. The beers are better than the food, but the food isn't bad. Enjoyed this one in a sampler from this past summer. Notes from tasting that day.
Foggy and golden in color. Orange smelling. Fluffy but tart. Rich and filling. Citric, but hoppy.

Had in bottle poured into a weizen glass at Mahar's Public Bar (Albany, NY) on 7/26/11.
A- At first glance this beer looks like what I'd expect out of any hefe; the cloudy, orangish color with a decent 1 1/2 finger head. Nothing out of the ordinary.
S- Well, at first smell I got faint traces of the typical clove and banana, but they weren't overpowering; in fact, it seemed like they were too faint.
T- I wouldn't say that the beer tasted "bad," but that is mainly because it doesn't taste like anything at all. Now, obviously, my opinion is skewed because I hold most hefes to a high standard (Weihenstephaner), but this brew really didn't do it for me. It tasted like someone had taken a decent hefe and added water to it. Not impressed.
M- Average mouthfeel. Honestly, I was too busy being unimpressed with the lack of character in the taste department to pay much attention to the mouthfeel.

Served in a Weizen glass
A: pours a very nice straw yellow that is very cloudy, has ample carbonation bubbles and a nice finger of frothy white head that lingers nicely
S: scent of cloves, banana, and the typical wheat dryness of the style
T: pretty intense taste of wheat, banana and slight lemon
M: hits pretty smooth and actually seems to have a foamy consistency as it is being drank
O: nice and refreshing, a bit harsh to be highly drinkable but not bad

A: Pours a hazy golden orange body with a thin white head; no lacing.
S: A very weak nose of grains, spices, and maybe banana, but it's extremely light.
T: Unfortunately the taste is exceedingly faded with barely any essences resembling a hefeweizen. Watered down flavors of some bananas, clove, and grainy malts. This could be a good beer, but it's too thin.
M: Light body; high carbonation; tingling and crisp texture.
O: Out of all the beers at Adirondack, this is probably my least favorite. I can see the brewer put in a solid effort, but it's too thin and the flavors are watered down. It has room for improvement, but I won't be getting this again.
