12oz bottle into a tulip. I've had their IPA on tap at the restaurant, but this is a different beer. Always glad to try something local.

Golden and slightly hazy, with a fluffy head that laces nicely.

Smells of pine and juicy grapefruit and orange.

Taste is mostly juicy citrus hops. Some malt backbone here. A bit thick, but not sweet. Overall, the flavor is quite good, if somewhat understated and muted in the finish.

Mouthfeel a bit thicker than average, but not off-putting.

Overall, this is a tasty, citrus-y IPA, and one of the best beers I've had brewed within an hour or two of me. I will definitely buy this again, and I hope the brewery is successful in their relatively new bottling operation.

A-Cloudy orange, two finger head, well carbonated, some sediment and lacing.

S-Good deal of hops, citrus, grass, vanilla and grapefruit

T-Grassy, some pine, citrus, vanilla and some bitterness. There is something else that I can't seem to place though that is slightly off putting.

M-medium bodied, some carbonation and smooth.

O-A good IPA but that taste I couldn't place was slightly off.

Named after the 2nd highest peak in the 'daks. Golden orange with a frothy white head. Big citrus with a some biscuit malt peaking out as it warms. Big citrus and prickly pine dominate the platte with a little bit of tobacco leaf in back. Big, sharp bitter. Good stuff.

A: Poured from a 32oz. growler into a pint glass. Pours a clear, golden brown color like grade A fancy maple syrup. A little head with minimal lacing.

S: Great hop aroma up-front with some light bread notes throughout. Bright citrus rind, pine sap, wildflowers, and a touch of dirt are the inviting aromas wafting out. Inviting, and without any hint of bitterness.

T: Tastes like a hoppy toasted biscuit. A nice bitterness on the end, with a warm malt backbone and some light hop aromatics floating on top. Grass is a predominant flavor, with some rye bitterness, a touch of nuttiness, and some tasty pine hop on the swallow. It's a dry, bitterly aromatic IPA.

M: Smooth, crisp, but a bit flat (could be the growler...) with a bitterness that hollows out your cheeks. Overall it's not overpowering in the mouth, but leaves with a kick.

O: I've had this beer many times before, and this is the first time I've reviews it under it's new name (formerly Indian Pale Ale) but I've been less impressed this time around. Perhaps it's the keg I got it out of, or the trip home making it flat, or perhaps I've never really sat down and tasted this beer with a critical eye before. Either way, it's a solid, local New York IPA that should be tried. Unfortunately, this go-round wasn't the best. I'll update if I have another batch that knocks my socks off.
