This place is grate ! Always a broad and numerous selection of beers on tap. Their stand-bys (bear naked, dirty blond, IPA) are always on tap and flawless. They do an excellent job of cycling through smaller specialized/seasonal brews (chiatiemac lager, black watch ipa, barrel aged)
It also doesn't hurt that these guys know how to throw a party !

A nice place to eat that is dog friendly and seemed to have a bunch of tourists like us. We sat outside at a covered table which was perfect. Had about ten of their beers on tap. I had two, but both were really, really impressive--a Belgian and a vanilla stout. I think the food left a bit to be desired. I had a designed cheeseburger and while the description sounded great it was just heavy. I seem to remember having a similar experience in the past. Prices were competitive for the area but more expensive than elsewhere in the Adirondacks. Another place that I will come back to for the beer and location--probably not the food.

Visited on Labor Day weekend, which was very crowded (which was to be expected). While it had all the trappings of a tourist trap - it is located in a tourist town - their beer offerings were nicely crafted. While the food was a bit plain (nothing special) I'd return for the beer. Flight sampler revealed some good offerings. If you're in the area, definitely worth checking out.

Stopped in on my way back to Vermont.
I thought it was a great "Northern country-ish" atmosphere with an abundance of clean taxidermy adorning all over.I thought the lighting was nice - wasn't too bright, but wasn't too dim - definitely seemed spot on lighting. The selection was mostly all theirs with some hard ciders. But now that I think about it, I believe most of those hard ciders were Adirondack's. My fish tacos were awesome. Service was very nice. Damn straight, I'd go back.

Fun restaurant brewery in the small lakeside tourist town of Lake George NY. Adirondack style dining room with lots of tables, and a small horse shoe bar with seating for 8-10 people max with 8-10 taps. Food is great, beer is decent.

Stopped in during the off-season expecting a rather dead bar. Instead, the place was very busy, probaby because of the good beer, food, and service. The atmosphereason is Adirondack woody with a good vibe. Every beer I tried was very good. I had a really good chowder and excellent burger. The lone bartender handled the bar, tables inside and out, and never poured less than two beers at a time. Filled a growler and bought some bottles to go, which she handled easily as well. I highly recommend this place over other brewpubs in the area.

Great little restaurant situated in the village of Lake George in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Great atmosphere, cool, rustic decorations. Service is pretty decent...much better than previous years. Food and food selection is good as well and for the location and atmosphere the prices aren't outrageous. My wife and I go a few times a year and are always happy.
Very involved with the community, always participating in events...also very involved in the beer community. I always see reps at the local beverage centers in the Capital Region with samples and little brewery handouts and glassware.
We recently attended the Oktoberfest event which was a beer festival celebrating the German Oktoberfest with proceeds supporting Habitat for Humanity. A fun event with great food options, many local brewers and fun events such as the Keg toss and stein holding
Each time we go there are different beers available on tap revolving around their permanent staples. They also offer brew tours (the brewery has recently expanded) and have a nice little nook when you first walk in to the restaurant with gear, apparel and glassware, which is also always changing and revolving. I have many pint glasses, snifters, tasting glasses etc.
They also occasionally offer "big beers" such as wee heavys, imperial stouts and Belgian triples. They have an annual barrel tasting event and host many various events throughout the year.
The recent expansion has led to bottling and even more recently canning of some of the main staples like Bear Naked Ale
The Adirondack Pub and Brewery is a great place to take friends or family and offers great beer and food in a great rustic environment at an affordable cost, while feeling like your own little hometown bar. I highly recommend!

The food is decent and service was above average. As far as atmosphere, it is a bit on the kitschy side; the building, and basically everything in it, is made of logs or feaux logs but that is appropriate for the area. As for the beer, it is a bit on the disappointing side. With the exception of a nice IPA, everything we tried was mediocre to bad. Not that there is a very high standard set by the competition in the nearby area, but this was overall the worst beer we had in the Lake George area. I think some of the glowing reviews here were motivated more by the happy memories of vacations than the beer.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent beer. A little pricey for food, but this is a tourist area so you have to expect that. The beer is very reasonable though. And off season it's pretty quiet making this is a must visit for any beer lover. I've sent ten different beer lovers there and everyone came back saying the same thing "best spot in the area for fresh brews". Best brewery in the area and they are doing things right. Distribution of is just starting to pick up so we should start seeing more of their cans around NY state. Anytime I'm up in the area I make it a point to stop in and grab a Snow Trout Stout. So good.
