Had this as part of a sampler at a Brussels restaurant for lunch. I love that each "sample" was at least 8 oz.

A-Pours a dense 3 fingers of white head. Color is golden with just a slight haziness.

S-Slightly fruity, barley malt is definitely there.

T-Really more than I expected from the aroma. Full flavored indeed. Heavy malty upfront and in the finish. Slightly meaty/savory...odd but tasty.

M-Excellent. Very crisp and clean.

D-Very high-this is a well balanced beer that finishes very nicely inviting the next drink.

O-A blonde with more flavor than most but still finishes nicely, best of both worlds. I would like to have this one again. (650 characters)

I just bought this beer from my favorite liquor store.

A - A bright copper colored beer with a white head that disappears pretty quickly. There is a thin white layer left behind.

S - A smell of normal strength of lemon, pine and yeast.

T - Fairly dry flavor, but balanced with hop bitterness. A fresh beer with light lemon extracts.

M - Medium to high carbonation, after that the beer is slightly sticky. At the end a bitter finish.

O - A good beer but not impressive but nice and good to drink. (504 characters)

This was brewed in a town near where I used to live, so I inevitably ran into it at a bar. I was not disappointed, as it poured yellow gold with an excellent head. I really like this style of beer in Belgium, the more I drink the more brands I want to try. Smelled of slight sweet maltiness and some yeast. Flavor was along the same lines, no real surprises here, very good light sweet maltiness with just enough hop bitter and yeast. Mouthfeel was a bit less than other brands of this style, as it seemed to leave a wet hay feeling in the mouth. Even so, very drinkable and I'm sure I'd like to have more. (606 characters)

On-tap in Ghent. A sweet and simple blonde. Not as thick as Leffe, but clean and pleasant - and good enough in Belgium. There's no hint of the adjuncts or sugar that were likely used, instead you get a simple, somewhat spicy Belgian blonde ale that would be a good gateway beer to the uninitiated. (297 characters)

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of fruits, yeast, malts. Taste is also malty and fruity, some alcohol is present, refreshing and easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer. (268 characters)

33 cl. bottle.
Colour is orange brown. decent head, good lacing.
A very light, mellow, pleasant overall, but watery beer. It's got good malt and yeast character, grassy hops are there.
I wish it was a bit more complex and flavourfull.
This beer is ok, but there are more interesting examples in this style out there (317 characters)

Brown 33cl bottle, best before Nov 2007, drank March 2007.

Poured into a Straffe Hendrik bowl glass, without any sediment leaving the bottle, the head suffered because of my slow pour, but it still produced a nice foaming white/off white crown on the beer. the body was an orange, tangarine colour, slight haze which made it look cloudy.

Aroma of yeasts and citrus fruits, mostly lemon or maybe limes. The label claims it has a honey aroma, I couldn't detect it until I read it was there.

Sourness at first, fizzy too, the yeast aroma carries on into the taste, no honey flavour!

The label also mentions maize as an ingrediant, this may well appear in the mouthfeel, aftertaste, which is fairly weak really.

Not the best blonde I've had, but I would have another of these, I won't hunt for one, but drink another, I would. (837 characters)

Nose fresh and highly enjoyable reminiscent marmalade, oranges in particular. The draft is fairly balanced, medium-bodied and round on the palate with a subtle flavor of lemonade. The aftertaste is fine but the yeast in the end leaves a bitter bottle. A refreshing lager, A bit below the Leffe Blonde, but lacks a little flavor in the mouth to leave a souvenir. (361 characters)

A clear deep golden brew, an off-white head with some lacing but small curtains.

Smelling of fruits, boiled sausage, spices.

Sweet soft bread, some spices, ripe orange peel.

Little carbonation, soft and oily, a good body, a slightly dry finish.

A full blonde, a nice harmonic taste picture. (294 characters)

(best before date - L06/03/15 - poured into a balloon)

A: second time having this now - huge, cottony-spongy of foam both times - couldn't pour the whole bottle in the glass... mostly clear, orange-y gold liquid... the head takes a little bit to recede into the liquid... maintains a medium-full, misty cap... fair amount of crystalline, sudsy lace

S: spicy, lightly fruity-estery sweet, vaguely-sulfur Danish lager-like character... faint caramel-kissed peach note in the back

T: like a mildly-drier Leffe Blond with a hint of wholegrain cracker... moderate phenolic spiciness in the finish, as well as a chamomile-like, apple-y note... surprisingly assertive, flowery bitterness toward the end, as well as a residual citrus-pith tartness... has an overall industrial Tripel yeast character

M: roundish, light-medium bodied enveloped in an expansive foamy wash... bit of a tart puckering left on the edges of the tongue... all in all, quite dry

O: not bad... probably wouldn't seek it out to savor on its own... maybe best suited as an on-the-go or happy hour beer... curious to pair it with the cheeses listed on their site - I can see it pairing nice with a sharp, salty type (1,183 characters)
