Appearance A slight cloudiness to this yellow body with a decent head that laced the glass.
Smell Not your typical Belgian aroma. I can pick up a little malt but otherwise its kind of lemony.
Taste This kind of reminds me of a very weak Flanders Red. Theres a definite sourness to the body. A small sweetness comes out in the end but I dont find anything, Belgian lager, about this one.
Mouthfeel The carbonation isnt bad, but again the sourness puckers the lips.
Drinkability This did not go down smoothly like a fine pale lager or perform well as an Oud Bruin sipper.
Comments I didnt care for the beer and it was dramatically off-style. I hate to be the low-ball here (as of this writing), but I thought this was an affront to Belgian ales and bordered on false advertising.
Update (01/06/05) After the style revisions were implemented the classisification of this beer as a Euro Pale Lager makes a bit more sense. I still didnt care for it though.

Clean, blonde appearance. Average foam.
Ceral malt in the smell. Standard.
Standard body.
Standard aftertaste.
It can be drank, in a standard mode. But why?

Clear straw gold. Attractive medium head. Good lacing. Straightforward, malt, yeast, cereal, sweet overtones for flavour and aroma but somewhat non-descript. Crisp with medium bitterness and low carbonation. Enjoyable.

500 ml can, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma with grassy and fruity notes. The flavour is medium sweet with some pilsener malts, grassy notes again, tolerable hoppy bitterness in the finish.

250ml Keg at Magic Rubens, Brussels (€3.00):
Quite a basic & at times cheap tasting lager than was bland for the most part with some light bitterness & grassy touches. There was touches of sweetness from some corn before a few bread malts came through along with the odd vegetable adjunct but it was a poor offering & probably the worst I had when in Belgium too.

Typical euro-lager but something a little different. Easy to drink, good character for a lager and was very refreshing as it was served very cold on a such a hot day. I would drink it again.
