I bought this beer on a whim and too my surprise, it is very average. Ok, I guess I didn't expect to be impressed. This stuff is horrible. It is pale yellow and has a sweet, hoppy aroma, but it is very processed. The same goes for the flavor. The malt is thin and the hops are present, but horribly bland and off tasting. BLAH! It is as bad as any Heineken could be, this crap is offensive.

a - Very pale not much head which disappear quickly. Coarse foam like US macro-brews.
s - Strong aroma when the bottle is first open but quickly fades to nothing
t - Simple, straightforwrd bitter with a strange aftertaste.
m - Coarse bubbles, unpleasantly foamy
d - Would drink it if it were the only thing available. Otherwise - wouldn't waste my money

This beer pours a clear light gold color. The head is a half in of bright white foam that recedes quickly into a small cap of lacing. The aroma is of corn with a slight sweetness. The taste is a touch sweeter than the aroma, but it is more of an adjunct sweetness than a malt sweetness. The mouthfeel is thin with a watery texture, and aggressive carbonation. Overall, this beer tastes more like an adjunct lager than a Dortmunder, and its not even a good adjunct lager. I can't see myself drinking this again.

A- very clear golden yellow with lots of rising bubbles and a puffy, slightly chunky white head that settles to a thick creamy disk and sticks around til the last drop and leaves plenty of wispy spatter patterned lace.
S- mildly skunkiness goes away after a few minutes. citrus hop aromas, maybe some lemon pith, and lightly toasted cereal grains. hay, grass, and cooked asparagus.
T- pretty good and bitter throughout, but the finish is rather generic and yucky. pale buttery grains, hay and cardboard, cooked greens, and some metallic flavors mid-way. odd, almost chemical bitterness finishes it off and i can't help but make a weird face when i drink it.
MF- light and prickly, but with a odd starch feeling that kinda matches the weird bitterness in the finish.
D- strange brew. something not right about this one. i would have assumed maybe it was stored improperly, but i'm an optimist. unpleasant finish is a downfall, but at least it looks good.

A: Clear gold colored brew with somewhat active carbonation. Soapy white head has OK retention. Leaves bits of lace.
S: Very mild. Grass, lemon and a faint biscuit aroma.
T: Somewhat sweet with a lemony and slightly metallic bitterness. Strong cooked cabbage taste in the finish ruins an otherwise pleasant experience. Bad bottle perhaps?
M: Light body with too much fizz.
D: The unpleasant finish killed the experience for me. I really hope I had a bad sample.

Poured a pale golden color, clear, with good carbonation, moderate head that faded to some spotty lacing. There's a malty quality to the smell, but there is something off about it that I just can't place, along with a spicy hop bit to the nose. The skunky smell that I first noticed when I opened the bottle is now gone.
A bit of malt flavor to the taste, but it's woefully lacking, and has a bit of that off taste from the smell, but I still can't place it. Can't find the hops, either. Tastes watered down, as well, with a thin, unimpressive mouthfeel.
All in all, I'm glad I didn't buy a six pack of this beer. Just seems lacking all around, and not impressive in the least.

330ml bottle poured into a 16oz pint glass.
A - Pours an average pale lager yellow with a fizzy white head and lots of carbonation on the glass.
S - Pretty typical lager. Barley can be made out, with a nice bready base to it. A touch of grassy hops can be made out as well. Simple but unoffensive.
T - Starts out alright, with some barley malt and bready notes, but quickly gives way to green-bottle-skunk and some mild grassy hops. Finishes a little stale and musty. Metallic aftertaste lingers. Not pleasant.
M - Thin body, bordering on watery. Overdone carbonation. While not good, in the end it's pretty typical of the style. A light, peculiar film builds up on my tongue from it as well.
D - While the green bottle certainly played a role in me not enjoying this beer, I can't imagine it was all that spectacular to begin with. Skunked or not, this a sub-par for even a lager. Musty and stale, and basically devoid of any flavor other than skunk. Oh well.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pilsener glass. Had a golden yellow color and a clear texture. A fair amount of head here.
S: Slightly skunky, with traces of light hops and citrus, but little else.
T: Some hops, lemon, but mainly a thin, watery quality. Left a bitter aftertaste.
M: A below average amount of carbonation and a slick finish. Medium-bodied.
D: This beer is wholly uninteresting. Very little personality to speak of. Pass.

A: Light Golden Color. Two finger head.
S: Very faint wheat smell.
T: A watered down wheat taste. Not a very deep taste. The after taste is the same as the initial taste.
M: Medium carbonation. Very light on the tongue.
O: I'm not impressed by the "Beer of world fame." It's not bad don't get me wrong. It's better than most domestic beers but the taste leaves something to be desired.

Pale yellow with thick foamy head laden with huge bubbles. A whiff of this reminded me of the beerflies that used to land in my beer when I lived in Montreal. They would drown and make the beer taste funny. That's how I knew one flew in (they weren't necessarily beerflies but thats what we called them since they always ended up in our beer). It's a very weird smell grainy, malty and drowned insecty.
I don't like the taste of this one. Not a surprise given that smell. Leaves a sugary coating on the tongue in the afterwash. Not a beer for me.

Type of beer I wouldn't normally seek out and but was given to me by a family member during the holidays. Pours with little head, semi-see through golden color to it. Aroma is a bit musky.. maybe this one is a bit dated. Taste lacks any carbonation, starting to think this is a tainted bottle. Typical mass-exported Euro Lager taste to it, light bodied and pretty tasteless except for a weak Euro hop kick to it at the end. Pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy this one even if it wasn't super fresh, look elsewhere for a nice import.
