Poured into a SA lager glass, this beer is bright and bubbly and quite pretty upon first glance. It would easily beat out High Life for the champagne of beers title, as this is crystal clear, bright as the day, and holds a nice frothy white head on top (for a little while anyway). But that's basically where the appeal begins to wane for this beer. The nose is bland and rife with corn and rice adjuncts. Maybe a hint of soapy lemon, but nothing worth writing home about. The taste is also soapy, and has a wicked, funked-up aftertaste. But it's not terrible. It's not great, but it's certainly not terrible. Malty with a stale popcorn flavor. Eh. I've had worse, I'll admit. Mouthfeel holds up beyond expectations.
I'd love to say that this beer is really good, but it's just not. Still, it has a cool bottle cap, so collectors have something to look forward to. And, honestly, there are worse beers on the market. I'm glad I only grabbed one of these badboys, though, as I don't anticipate going back for more any time soon.

Poured golden clear body. No head whatsoever.
This beer was poured into a glass, but still smells somewhat metallic.
I wish I drank this beer straight out of the fridge, it was out of the fridge for about an hour before I had the chance to drink it.
Actually tastes slightly better than the smell. Mostly of light flavored malts, and what I imagine is just corn. And still a slight metallic taste
Mouthfeel is fine, again if it was colder it would have helped.
Overall, a beer I only got because it was a $2 16oz at the food spot I was at and I really wanted a beer.

Another day, another lager.
Pours a clear golden color. The head is average, white with medium retention.
There is the familiar malty aroma with grains.
As well as the sweet taste at the beginning, followed by grainy body, coming together with nice bittery finish.
Drinkable, light with enough bittereness to freshen you up. Thumbs up.
