A 640ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2013. ABV is stated as 4.8%. Beer from Singapore, but brewed by Heineken in Edinburgh.
Poured into a tulip pint glass. A clear pale golden colour with medium carbonation. Forms a large head of white foam that lasts for a few minutes before dissipating. Aroma of light malt with a hint of stewed veg and a faint whiff of noble hops.
Tastes of light malt with a mild, dry finish. Subtle notes of stewed hops and overcooked veg, with a stale hint of maize in the background. Not much bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and crisp, with pleasantly tingly carbonation but insubstantial body. Aftertaste of stewed veg and an artificial bitter note.
Meh - a run-the-gamut macro lager, nothing special. Dull and devoid of character, with some faint but unwelcome corn notes. Probably OK on a hot day in Singapore, but not worth spending your money on over here. Give it a miss.

I ran into Tiger in various places as I bicycled around Southern Asia, and generally avoided it. It's really quite noticeably an adjunct beer, and god knows what goes in it. Of course, you expect that most Asian beers have a lot of rice in the mix, as that is what's cheap and available. But Budweiser also has rice, and maintains its inoffensive flavorlessness.
Tiger, on the other hand, tastes like something has gone terribly wrong in the adjunct department, kind of like too much corn really spoils a lot of American adjuncts. Mostly saw this in Malaysia, but also in Indonesia and elsewhere. Avoid it!

So the imported price for a Bud-esque mimicry is not what you want at all.
All the typical pieces are there, from the light look to the light taste to the easy consumption. This is a standard drink-while-you-watch-football taste, which you can easily avoid for much smaller prices. This is only good for the label/variety/tiger and otherwise Bud itself does the job and it's American.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown bottle into a Pilsener glass.
Appearance: The body has a pale light golden color with very good clarity. Its head is fairly thick, frothy and bright white in color. The head hangs on well as it slowly fades down to just a thin cap and makes some lacing on the glass along the way.
Smell: Its aroma is light and simple with notes of light grain, hay and grassy hops.
Taste/Mouth: The flavor is similar its aroma, not sweet and not too bitter. It has a clean and mellow grainy malt character with just a light grassy hop taste on the finish. The palate is very drinkable with a medium body, smooth wet texture and average carbonation.
Notes: Overall its not bad at all for a pale lager.

11.2 oz brown bottle with a best before date on the back label.
A- Good frothing white head dissipates into a thin lace that sticks a bit. Bright bubbly gold clarity shines in the light.
S- The usual aroma of an adjunct lager, no definitive malt in the nose just husk and cooked cereal.
T- Thin maltiness holds together for a modest generic lackluster hop bite. Clean and mostly dry.
M- Super crisp and pretty damn smooth.
A half decent lager, an easy pick when you want a weak flavored beer to wash down extra spicy Pan-Asian cuisine.

11.2 ouncer with no freshness dating. Pours pissy yellow, light and clear. White head. Cabadgy/bready/grassy nose. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Macro tasting (Corn/rice in the mix) Slight grainy hop note late. Typical macro lager, you can do better then this swill.

The beer pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very faint. I get a little bit of unattractive grain notes in the aroma but that is about it. The flavor is very sweet with some malt and grain notes. Not real hops character, but at least there are not any real "off" flavors. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a beer I will try again.

A little darker than standard fizzy yellow beer, this had a dull gold kind of appearance, with a thin white head about 1/3" to i t. Aroma was nondescript, slightly grainy.
Taste, very mild, lots of water content. Mild hopping, lots of carbonation, super light body. Nothing complex about it. Pretty clean overall. Slight metallic finish to it, stays relatively dry despite a dallop of sweetness.
I don't understand why this beer is expensive, there's nothing to it really.

Appearance: Golden and fizzy that's about it, thin short lived head just poor looking brew. Aroma: Wretchedness as my lovely girlfriend, Carrie put it so eloquently. Smells worse than Old E' grainy malt liquor like approach no hopes bland, blah. Taste: Tolerable only because of it's lack of flavor, there is also a distinct offness ridden with rice as it's evil adjunct of choice. Mouthfeel: Thin bodied watery who cares about carbonation. Drinkability: Wow, I can't believe they export this shit who else in the world would send this shitty beer, I'll tell you the same one that beats their citizens with rods.
