Medium pale straw color capped by a brilliantly white head. Plenty of sulfur notes, appropriate for lager yeast. When you get this fresh, there will be a very aromatic, cannabis-like hop quality. This fades a bit when consumed as an export outside of Austria or with some age on it. The lengthy transit to the US is not especially kind to this beer. It holds up ok, and remains an enjoyable Pilsner, but the freshness in its country of origin makes this seem like a different beer. It's got a slightly musty tone, with notes of wet grass, white bread dough, cardamom and a faint note of lemon pith. On the palate, it opens smooth, only mildly sweet at the start, with grains coming through as the sweetness fades. That fade continues from sweet to grainy to moderate bitterness, in perfect pilsner form, with small flashes of lemon, grass, tobacco and a slight hint of apple and apple skins in the finish. The bitterness in the finish intensifies as the beer warms. A fine beer that I'd be happy to make my regular pils if I could find the stuff on tap locally.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Straw coloured, clear, pours with a fine looking 1Cm creamy white head. ps@+10mins, the head is unchanged, ie holds perfectly so far.
S- Light grain.
T- It's dry, the hops build, the dry CO2 aspect then comes in. Very trad, pleasant easy-drinking.
F- Ideal for a hot day, it's a trad hopped pilsener faithfully over to the lighter and drier side.
O- No fireworks from this trad beer, just very pleasant and a nice first beer of the evening on a hot day.
500ml bottle BB: 02/10/2021 £3 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

Nice German style pils from Austria. True to the style. Decent mouth feel and a grassy hoppy bready flavor one would expect. Has a hop presence though not quite as prominent as the good style Saaz “bite” that I prefer. Pretty good overall.

Pours a golden straw with a nice, one-finger head and not much carbonation.
Nice grainy smell in which a touch of raisin comes through.
On the hoppy side of German Pilsners. Great yeast and breadiness. I get slight raisin in taste. Interesting.
Mouthfeel extremely crisp in which yeast and breadiness smooths everything.
Wonderful German oils that is more complex than most.

A german pilsener? Smells and tastes a bit like Carlsberg back in the good old days when I still thought it tasted good...
That skunky hops... that mild and drinkable taste without much unpleasantness and CO2... well it resembles this sentiment.
But it's not really like your typical pilsener. But then the better it is!
Looks crap, smells and tastes okay, don't mind backing one down. Could be much worse.
Re-evaluating it after 4 years. Feels quite refreshing. Has a slight hop bitterness to it, guess the German type. Not sure why I wasn’t happy with this years ago, it is quite a nice German Pils.

Pours a hazy gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and great lacing. Smells of strong Euro yeast, corn, pale malt, slight citrus hops, and a hint of sweet malt. Fist the style of a German Pilsner. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a slight metallic dryness. Tastes of strong Euro yeast, corn, pale malt, slight citrus hops, and a hint of sweet malt. Overall, good appearance, metallic dryness and corn flavors are a detriment, but otherwise quite good.

Poured from bottle into tulip, nice 1 finger cream colored head fades quickly, so so lacing. Pale light golden in the glass, pretty clear, slight opaqueness. Smells faintly of cracker malt, some grassy herbal hops coming thru. Even though in a green bottle, it was pretty well protected on my end after coming out of the box, so no skunkiness here. Taste is crisp on the front, some herbal hops, and some biscuit malt on the palate, slight bitterness, some grassy flavor coming thru, some lemon residue. Finish is on the dry side. Nice pils, though one and done. There are just so many breweries cranking out great pils in a bottle format you don't have to babysit.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sweet bready and grainy malts are present in the nose along with some faint hints of skunk.
T: The taste follows the smell, but doesn't have any sweetness—this is instead replaced by some flavors of grassy hops and a light amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This could have been a solid pilsener if it weren't for the spunkiness in the smell and taste.
