12oz. bottle poured into a tulip-style glass. It pours a medium-dark amber color with three fingers of fluffy head. There is great head retention and lots of lacing on the glass. The smell has a nice toasty malt smell, with a solid dose of piney hops. A nice well balanced aroma. The taste has a sweet malty start. Bits of caramel and biscuit malts. The finish is crisp and very hoppy. A really nice hop flavor lingering. The mouthfeel is nice and thick, yet smooth. The drinkability is really outstanding as well. A damn good APA. A big shout out to Kevin (kmpitz2) for this fine offering.

Palmetto PA on tap at the Cork & Tap (SC).
slightly hazy light amber with a very good hea that leaves plenty of sticky lacing.
Feel: Crisp, lively carbonation with a near medium body.
Aroma: near balanced mix of hops and malts.
Flavor: lightly sweet up front; mildly bitter by the finish. Some grapefruit peel in the lingering aftertaste.
O: this APA is slightly aggressive but otherwise undistinguished.
Serving type: on-tap
