Palmetto is a malty yet slightly bitter pale. It is copper in color with foam off-white head that is lacing. The smell is weak....hints of citrus. The taste is pushed by a malty start with a bitter (grapefruit) finish. The body is medium to light with good carbonation. Overall it is ok....

I see a half inch of white foam on the top of this beer and a nice golden hue. Brussels lacing. I get a nose of amber malt, barley, and pine like aroma hops. The body is fairly carbonated and somewhat salty and dry. I get an instant bit of gentle pine like hop bitterness very closely followed by a light and clean malt backbone.

12oz bottle into a pint glass

A: Pours a somewhat hazy, golden orange with 1 fingers width of white head. Head dissipates down fairly quickly to a thin film which remains throughout the drink and leaves a good amount of lacing.

S: Citrus rind, pine, dish soap, sweet malts, lemon/lime.

T: Sweet malts upfront with piney bitterness on the finish. Citrus rind.

M/D: Medium body, carbonation on the higher side, somewhat drying, good drinkability.

O: Solid American Pale from top to bottom. Not outstanding but well above average.
