On cask at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.

Pours similar to regular Eddy Fitz. Very dark brown, almost black. 1 inch mocha-colored head, not much lacing.

Smells like chocolate, cherries, vanilla, and a bit of roasted coffee.

The taste is similar. The cherries and vanilla add a nice dimension to the usual classy coffee and chocolate of Edmund Fitzgerald. Smooth vanilla is the star here. Some roasty bitterness as well.

Cask-style mouthfeel. Slightly watery at times. Soft carbonation.

A good variant on Edmund Fitzgerald. Glad to find this rarity at The Old Toad.

Pours a dark Amber color. Has a very distinct porter aroma. Flavor lacks the amount of cherry and vanilla I hoped for. Gives you the Edmund fitz floor with some background extras. Pretty smooth. Not bad overall but leaves a lot of room for improvement
