Darker color than most tripels. Decent amount of fruity esthers with green apple, pear, white grape with a biscuit malt finish. There's an odd mouthfeel that seems unbalanced with not enough carbonation or dryness. Ok Tripel, everything is solid except the mouthfeel.

Pours a brilliant light golden with a fruity ivory head that dissipates into a ring of foam.

Sharp notes of green apple, subtle pear, peach, vinous grape, and toasted, bready malt accompany floral hop notes.

Fairly sweet malt dominates the profile, with toasted notes creeping in mid palate and carrying into a spicy, peppery finish. Softer green apple and pear add complexity.

Body is smooth and fairly heavy, with modest carbonation and substantial alcohol warmth.

Much heavier than most tripels, as evidenced by the alcohol content. Sweetness is overdone. Good estery character, but it gets overwhelmed by what seems to be under attenuation.
