A: Pours a delicious looking copper amber with a big, fluffy tan to light brown head that sticks around big time. Great lacing throughout as well. A bit of rising carbonation also.
S: A bit on the faint side, but take a good whiff and you'll pick up definate malt scents on the sweet side (sweet bread) and some autumn inspired spice scents. Some dark berry and spiced apple and nutty aromas peeking through faintly. Some crisp hop scents near the end.
T: Nice flavor profile that is well done and not overly done, like some Oktoberfests. Sweet bread with some dry, toastlike flavors. Dry, crisp hops finish off the sip. In between their is some interesting berry and apple flavors as well as a generic fruitiness. The malts are carried throughout and give way only shortly to these other flavors.
MF: Light at times, but medium light most of the time.
Overall: A nice interpretation with an interesting fruitiness to it. Pick some up as it's drinkability is perfect for an autumn afternoon!

I know it's almost to early to think about the leaves changing colors, but this beer does just that. The amber color was clean and head great with nice lacing on the glass. Smell was nice and malty. On the front end the taste was smooth for a 6.5% beer and finished just as smooth. Overall a very nice for anyone looking to drink a good beer. I will get another six pack of this one.

Great Lakes Oktoberfest from Great Lakes Brewing Co., a seemingly early start, but whatever. Poured from the bottle into a liter glass drinking boot, this brew's got a 3 finger thick pale tan head, knockout lacing& a body that is the textbook definition of amber. What a sexy beer!
I smell gloriously roasted malts; perhaps a dash of caramel. A satisfyingly full aroma.
Tastes nearly identical. Full as they come and still crisp! Earthier hops balance this brew out JUST enough. I love the taste
Mouthfeel is smooth and clean. No lingering elements here.
Overall, a fist pumping 4.25 is given to Great Lakes Oktoberfest from Great Lakes Brewing Co. I implore you to give this brew a chance. It blew me away, obviously. This brew will be a staple in my fridge during its circulation period.
