Great Lakes High Striker.
No fancy introductory post on this one. Found it past date for 79 cents a bottle and figured why the hell not.
Look - Pours a very murked yellow with a three finger egg-white head that has thus far remanded half of its original appearance. Slight amounts of sediment are visible in the glass and carbonation appears to be on medium. Head retained well throughout the drink and the lacing was great. 4.75.
Smell - A large dose of that oh so typical Belgian yeast in a cocktail with hay and bubblegum. A bit of coriander but no fruits to be mentioned. 3.25.
Taste - High strung yeast and bubblegum are highly dominate. You can tell this is a low ABV Belgian style. But, admittedly this could pass pretty well for a St.Bernardus Extra 4. Crisp and clean, without a flavorful explosion. 3.75.
Feel - Light to medium bodied with a low to medium carbonation depending upon how big a sip you take. Sits slightly creamy and goes down like a dream. 3.75.
Overall - This review is rather short but there wasn't a whole lot to say about this beer. It's perfect for when you want something Belgian esque but don't want to too get wasted or break the bank. I'd say they did a pretty good job with what they decided to work with. Tasty even past its enjoy by. 3.75.

12 oz. bottle, enjoy by date 07/15/2015. Another new one to me from Great Lakes, acquired as part of the mixed Spring variety pack.
Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.
A - Pours a crisp pale golden orange. Just over a finger of frothy white head with decent staying power. Appears actively carbonated, with some cloudy sediment twirling in the glass.
S - Earthy, grainy, & wheaty. Earthy yeast & subtle clove spice. Subtle earthy hops are also noticeable in the background. The yeast seems to dominate.
T - Taste follows the nose: grainy & wheaty, with lots of earthy yeast and a very prominent amount of clove spice.
M - The feel is crisp & clean. Easy-drinking with good carb. A bit of earthy hop bitterness and clove spice lingers on the finish. Dry.
Overall, more of a witbier tasting ale than anything. Not my preferred style by any means.

Bright yeast, banana, clove, peppercorn and wheat in the scent. Earth, peppercorn, more muted yeast, clove, grass and a touch of citrus in the flavor.

I tried this from the bottle chilled in tulip.
The color is gold with thick haze and white head with fine bead. Lace sticks well with streaks forming and retention is decent. The smell is slight yeast oriented with a musky light floral hop ester with slight phenolic accent and yeast dominating the aroma. The smell has an earthy almost musty dry clove-like odor. The feel is crisp with carbonation and it is above average with mild spice from the yeast with creamy texture and mild sweetness level of malt mid palate and slight alcohol coming through in the finish which is dry and spicy.
The taste starts with tropical fruit in flavor -the flavor is better than the aroma with slight spice from yeast with nutty and dry malt body which supports the grassy hop in the bone dry finish. Overall not a bad Belgian style pale but a little yeast heavy with a hop flavor I am not jazzed about it is grassy but this is still worth trying.
