12oz bottle served in a little plastic hotel water cup. Best by is 2015-01-15.

Pours clear golden with a slight copper tint. Small white head that fades slowly. Lots of carbonation. Smell is mild but nice. Mostly flowers and grass.

Taste is nice. Lots going on. Strong bitter throughout, but some bright floral in there, too. Piney finish. Definitely some hay or straw.

Mouthfeel is light, crisp. Overall, very good IPA.

A: Very clear, with a dark golden color that at the same time is light orange. Head is not quite white. Visible carbonation the entire time I drink it.

S: Citrusy, kind of like grapefruit. Probably from the cascade.

T: Fruity, floral, and spicy. Mild levels of bitterness at first because of the beer's smoothness; eventually made into high ones by it's aftertaste.

M: Flavor makes it a very clean tasting beer.

O: Probably my favorite year-round beer by Great Lakes Brewing Company. While I do enjoy Chillwave Double IPA and especially Lake Erie Monster much more; ignoring this beer or not giving it an excellent review makes no sense to me. I don't know of too many fresh, unique tasting, and 7.5% ABV IPA's I can find here in Ohio that are $8.99 for a 6-pack. Thanks Great Lakes. Keep up the good work.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.

A: Clear, Deep golden/ light orange, with a 1 finger off-white head. Ample Carbonation.
S: Lovely hoppy smell of pine, mandarin orange, berry, and tropical fruits, especially pineapple. Slight bubblegum scent.
T: The fruity flavor of the hops gives the brew a sweet, orange flavor up front. A bitterness made evermore evident by slightly toasted malts provides the body of the flavor. Sharp flavors prick the tongue and add complexity to the ale. Malts play a back role to the hops, but give a solid foundation. Slight aftertaste.
M: Medium mouthfeel. Not overly oily.
O: A great offering from Great Lakes Brewing. Very flavorful and complex. Better EIPA than Harpoon, and with a higher ABV, which is nice.
