Appearance: Deep, dark red, amber. The head was a little flimsy and the lacing wasn't there.
Smell: Very aromatic hops, with just a touch of malt, sweet fruity hop oils.
Taste: Why isn't this and Lagunitas 13 called what they are; a DIPA? This is a delicious hoppy brew with enough malt sweetness up front to stand up to all those ibu's but as delicious as it is there are several others I can think of that are in the same league.
Mouthfeel: Rich and creamy.
Drinkability: Not a session beer but a very solid brew that should fit in any night of drinking.
Serving type: bottle
