Got this one in trade from Auslander! Always a pleasure, thanks again man!
Consumed 4/27/2010- from notes.
Brown 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A- A hazy orange tinged brown topped off by a chunky one finger tan head that hung around a bit. Some spotty lacing.
S- Sweet caramel malts, a little woody element, maybe some dark fruit but I'm not sure. Very earthy.
T- Similar to the nose with the addition of a light bread flavor mixed in. A little more hop presence.
M- Medium to heavy bodied, full and a little chewy. A little hop bite.
D- Very easy drinker, I would have said it was more of an altbier though. Now that GL is distributed by me I'm looking forward to picking up some more.
