Poured from tap at GLBC into a clean beer glass.
Color/appearance: Light golden copper, slightly hazy with nice thick creamy head that lasted for several minutes left a nice belgian lace around the glass.
Smell is all hops! citrus, lemony, grapefruit, and hints of pine. Very lite malt and alcohol due to its 9% ABV (seemed higher).
taste is all hops. This beer really is for the true hop head! Very little malt to cover the hops. I find this to be a great double IPA since most other breweries seem to load this style with malt to hide the bitterness. This lets the hops shine through!
drinkability is good the hops hides some of the alcohol and this beer seemed to go down nice and quick. Had to swithch to their regular IPA due to the fact I was driving.
Serving type: on-tap
