Appearance is opaque, dark orange with plenty of carbonation bubbles. Head and lacing are slim.
Nose is a lot of candy-like hops and sugary malt. There is some banana and oat.
Taste is sweet, sugary and creamy. There is orange zest and banana. The hops have a burnt quality to them: a dull bitterness. The malt is light, but sweet. The sweetness is sometimes too much and cloying.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with mild carbonation. The alcohol and hops make this a sipper.
Overall, this is what you would expect from an imperial, but taken in an unexpectedly sweet direction.
