12oz single, impulse-purchased a 4pack at steve's - paired with a lime zest curry dish
appearance: poured into my hopleaf tulip, vibrant bright amber body, creamy beige crest with nice lacing. really nice looking beer from great lakes
smell: subtle but very pleasant aroma, zesty yeast, sweet wheat kicks, caramel, toasted barley
taste: nice example of the style - spiced yeast, clove, crisp wheat, white pepper, banana, caramel. perhaps a touch sweet but still a very satisfying weizen and i'm happy to have 3 more
moutheel: great, super creamy, rather full body
drinkability: easy street

On-tap @ Circle Bowl in Ledgewood, NJ.
Deep amber in color and slightly hazy with a very small head. Poor head retention with low carbonation. Wheat and toasted malt combined with plenty of banana and clove in the aroma. Rich malt flavor with a touch of dark fruit and alcohol. Smooth finish with medium-full body. Could really be improved by increasing the carbonation. An average weizenbock, overall.

Dark brown, thin tan cap. Lots of bready, Bavarian pretzel flavors with undernotes of some alcohol / phenol flavors which seemed thin & underdeveloped.
