Look-Clear gold, all the white bubbly head you want
Aroma Mild grain, bread, caramel, some yeast. Very much the earthy mix you'd expect in a top German lager.
Taste A rather energetic if unusual taste. A bit woody, shifting to some fruity notes, hints of dry noble hops. A very " Beer" taste in a rather classic German way that's hard to define as a "tastes like". I like it,though I like Elliot Ness more. This is a bit TOO Euro to be my thing, yet it does the type as good as they get. Well executed.
Mouth Rather light, wet, refreshing. Best with food, where it's subtle ways compliment the meal. Obviously, will be very nice with a Brat on rye.
Drinkability Yes,it's a bit dry but still interesting. Good "changeup" from the normal Stouts + IPA's I drink.
