A-Clear orange, carbonated with a two finger head.

S-Bready, light fruit notes, rather malty

T-Great bread notes to start, some banana is in there, end with noticeable citrus hops and bitterness finish it off.

M-Light carbonated and smooth.

O-One of the best lagers I've ever had. Malt and hops are well balanced in a great all around beer.

Got this out of a Great Lakes mixed 12 pack that I brought back from Syracuse for JcTribe25. Patrick was kind enough to give me one of these as it’s the one included style I have not tried.
Bottle stamped enjoy by 1/16/12

Good looking beer, that’s for sure. Fluffy bright white head builds and shows great retention. My favorite trick is when the head rises well above the rim of the glass, this beer does that. Lots of sticky lacing everywhere. The beer is a very bright copper/brass color. Definitely darker than I had imagined.

Aroma is of pale malt and a bit doughy. Some sweetness is evident as well.

Nice bread like flavor with just a hint of toasty-ness in the malt. A touch of grassiness and a decent bitterness towards the end. After taste is of dark crusty bread.

Light but sturdy body with prickle of carbonation focused on the end of your tongue.

Good beer, but I think I enjoyed DAB better (I believe that’s the same style)

Taken from beer notebook.

A- clear, shiny golden color with a white head, gold lacing.

S- citrus hops, grass, clean malt

T- clean orange citrus hops with a very strong malt backbone, bready notes and finishes a bit dry with the bready malts lingering long after the sip. This one packs a punch!

M- silky and creamy with good carbonation balance.

O- This one is solid! Great balance with the citrus hops and strong malt backbone. I would definitely come back to this one.

One of my favorite hometown brews. It is a smooth lager that has balanced hops and malts. I dont catch much of an aftertaste but enjoy the mouthful. Coming in at a 5.8 alcohol percentage, you definitely get your bang for your buck with this beer. If your not looking for a cheap beer and want something at a reasonable cost I'd recommend something from my hometown, Dortmunder Gold.
