Been wanting a bottle since I've started seeking out barrel aged beers. Traded for this at DLD. Big thanks jampics2. 2010 vintage
A - Pours black with brown edges. No color can penetrate this in the center of the glass. Tiny dark brown head that leaves immediately.
S - Vanilla and bourbon followed by chocolate.
T - Big chocolate followed by vanilla and oak. A hint of alcohol in the back which adds a nice spice. One of the better barrel aged beers I've had, balanced, not overly sweet not too much bourbon.
M - Nice low carb, not sticky but has a nice long alcohol finish
O - Blackout stout was not one of my favorites RIS. The barrel did wonders to this brew. Quite nice, very enjoyable
