Poured into becker pint glass; can't wait to try it, I'm loving rye beers. Pours a clear golden/yellow orange with a thick fluffy white head that doesn't go anywhere and leaves a ton of beautiful intricate lacing. Smells of juicy fruits, citrus and mango with some piney hops behind it and just a hint of rye behind that. Taste is just about the same, although a bit subdued compared to the nose. Clean, smooth malts beneath big juicy hops; the rye sneaks in for a kick towards the end, and is joined by bittering hops over the clean finish. Mouthfeel is a little fuller than you'd expect, probably from the extra grain (rye) in the malt bill. I'd almost like a little more from the rye in this one, but it is a rye IPA, not a full rye beer, so it seems spot on.
