12oz. bottle poured into a tulip glass.
A- a bright light orange/gold with a nice thick two fingers of white head. Laces fantastically. Pretty translucent but there is some hop haze.
S- Bright blood orange notes. A hint of herbal/pine hops. Rye is detectable on the bready malt bill.
T- Nice punch of bitterness up front which you almost think will subside, but the rye kicks hard mid to end. Most of the orange sweetness is up front, malt bill is mainly bready and rye based on the back end. Hops and rye interplay to make the bitterness last and last.
M- Medium bodied, but dry, dry, dry. Appropriately so. Nice carbonation to keep things moving.
O- Very, very good. Certainly one of the better rye PA's or IPA's I've had.
