The beer pours a hazy, deep golden color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a nice, balanced scent that boasts of pale and rye malts; sweet with a touch of spiciness. The hop character is mild, yet the citrus character is noticeable. The taste is awesome! It has a stiff hop bitterness up front along with a solid malt base that adds depth and a mild spicy character. It's smooth and easy drinking, yet high enough in abv that you need only a few. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium/full bodied beer with adequate/good carbonation. This is a very good rye IPA. It's bold enough to be interesting, yet drinkable to someone who's new to the style.

Really solid IPA - nice appearance - towering fluffy white head nice lacing. Smells of piney / citrus hops. Taste follows the nose - resinous, hop forward and nicely balanced with a sweet malt back bone. Drying and bitter aftertaste lingers on the palate.

Overall, rock solid IPA that I will definitely have again.

Poured Rye of the Tiger IPA into a Belgian Tulip.

A - Pours a clear light orange with a finger of white creamy head.

S - The aroma is of mango, pine, grapefruit, light citrus.

T - On first taste I get rye right off the bat, with some bitter hops and grapefruit juice. Mid palate getting more spiciness from the rye, some malt to balance the animal nicely. On the aftertaste getting more smooth malts with rye spiciness. Yum!

M - Medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

O - Nice rye beer here. Recommended! Cheers!
