12 oz bottle. drink before 04/11/13.
A: clear, bright copper body. head starts bubbly and bright white. retention is minimal as is the lacing.
S: lots of sweet caramel malt. smells inviting. a touch of acetone. virtually no hop bitterness.
T: malty sweet to start. flavor develops as the sip goes down. slightly metallic. flavor is rich. lingers long into the finish with woody and sweet unfermentables. sweet tang.
M: carb is moderate, slightly mellow. light/medium body.
D: im glad GLBC took this style and made it bigger. a style that could definitely use the meat, this is well welcomed. lots and lots of caramel flavors and aromas. if you are a fan of irish red's, pick this up.
