Presentation: Nice looking bottle with eye-catching label graphics in the traditional GLBC style. Label gives a nice back story of the beer, ABV info, web info, a bit of brewery info, serving temp recommendation, freshness date(8/17/13). Neck label has GLBC logo and a nice description of the beer. 25th Anniversary Cap.

Appearance: An aggressive pour from this 12oz brown bottle into a 12oz stange glass led to a 3 finger white airy head atop a crystal clear golden yellow beer. Head retention was 4min 10sec before fading to a rocky coating and thin ring that left a nice lacing.

Smell/Aroma: Smells very floral with a grassy malt aroma. Also has hints of light white grape and a slight floral hop aroma.

Flavor/Taste: Tastes very malty on the front end with nice floral hints leading into a slightly floral bitter hop midpoint turning slightly sweet with a grassy back end that finishes floral and dry. Very good!

MouthFeel/Drinkability: Medium bodied and slightly dry with a crisp carbonation that makes this very refreshing and drinkable.

Overall/Comments: Another really solid brew by GLBC that was well done and well put together. I really enjoyed this beer and how refreshing and sessionable it was. June Seasonal Release. Classified as a Czech Pilsner @ 5.3%. Consumed 6/30/2013.

Pours slightly hazed golden. Not as many noticeable bubbles for the style. The white, small-bubbled head leaves some strands of lacing.

The smell is floral/lemongrass and grain. Clean.

The taste is initially sweet and grainy but soon gives way to a floral/lemongrass bitterness with a touch of sulfur. It has a refreshingly dry finish.

It is crisp and refreshing.

This is a well-made, true-to-style Czech-style pils! Very drinkable!

Aroma- spicy floral hops used (Saaz). Some complex barely use hits the nose in a pleasant and appropriate level. Clean lager-like smell. No diacetyl.

Appearance- Very clear like a magnifying glass. Yellow to light gold in color. Creamy white head which disappears rather quickly.

Flavor- Some rich maltiness that is very well balanced by the spicy and floral Saaz hop used. Bitter (35-45 IBU) but is balanced from the smooth and sweet malt. Clean lager like taste. After-taste is well balanced with neither hops or malts dominating. No diacetyl.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied with medium to medium-high level of carbonation. No alcohol burn or astringency.

Overall- Crisp, complex malt combined with spicy Saaz hops. Bitterness level is perfect. .Perhaps a slight increase to malt used to provide a little more balanced finish.
