Appearance: light yellow in color with a 2" head that lasted a while. Some moderate lace painted the glass.

Smell: some light grass and lemons is hard to detect but noticeable.

Taste: a mild grainy malt base with some grass, a bit of lemon, and a mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel: light in body. Very crisp throughout. Relatively clean aftertaste.

Overall: this beer was very light, refreshing, and easy to quaff on a hot summer day. A bit mild in flavor but it hit the spot.

12 oz. bottle with enjoy by date of 09/12/2013. Looking forward to trying this; I'm always excited to try out a new beer from Great Lakes, and this one is no exception. Poured into a Firestone Walker pint glass.

A - Two fingers of fizzing foamy white head on top of a crystal clear straw yellow colored body with plenty of bubbles rushing topside. Some thin scattered lacing. Doesn't look like much, but it suits the style.

S - Smell is of crisp clean grainy corn and husks, some wheat, and some earth. Doesn't really smell like much either. Imagine a more pure and clean smelling Miller Lite.

T - Taste follows the nose: clean wheat, earthy grainy corn and corn husk, some citric lemongrass, and crisp carbonation.

M - Feel is crisp and carbonated, with a clean finish. Extremely fitting for this beer.

Overall, an above average beer, and a nice example of the style, a clean refreshing pilsner with a moderate 5.30% abv. Easy drinking any time; great in the summer. Although probably not my first choice from Great Lakes Brewing Co., I'm glad to have tried it.

A-Clear yellow, nicely carbonated, one finger head.

S-Wheat, straw, yeast, grass, lemon very slight floral hops.

T-Rather sweet, yet balanced. Straw, wheat with grass and lemon. Very slight bitterness that works. Some floral notes. But not as good as it warms.

M-Medium bodied, some carbonation and very crisp.

O-The main knock is that it should be consumed cold. But one of the better pils out there.

A: 4.5 transparent yellow with thick white head, lots of carbonation visible rising to the top

S: 3.5 bread risen by yeast before cooking, not much hop aroma

T: 4 hop presence makes itself apparent here, nicely gripping without astringency. Very clean malt flavor

M: 4.5 medium body, fairly strong carbonation plays well with the crisp finish

O: 4 a refreshing beer with plenty of flavor. Excellent beer for a hot day.

Poured into a pils glass.

3.5 A: Clear dark yellow color. Two and a half fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is a tad below average, but a lot of lacing is left.

3.5 S: Grass, hay, earthy hops. Not a lot going on and not a lot of intensity, but it's super clean, which I like.

3.5 T: Like the nose, this lacks vigor, but it's again super clean. Grass, hay, earth.

3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly creamy.

3.5 D: Not the most exciting of beers, but it's well made, crisp, and clean.
