Honey peach-amber with some turbidity. Stocky head cap with upward-reaching lace. Rather dark for a tripel.
Fusel alcohol with fruity ale yeast esters. Clove, dark banana, blood orange, nectarine, and cherry. Ripely Belgian with an affirming alcohol scent. Bready, with a light toast. Fat nose.
Big booze, estery banana, spicy clove, plum, bread crusts, apricot jam. Really potent. Lots of flavors consistent of a strong pale. Sweet and juicy for a tripel. Wants to dry out in the finish, but it's too hard to pull off. Faint peppery quality that gets pushed over.
Wooly medium-full body with a semi-perky carbonation that dissolves well. The crime is in the obnoxiousness of the booze.
Decent beer. I was expecting a little better from Great Lakes, though.
Serving type: on-tap
