New brew from GLBC. Has Mosiac hops which seem all the rage (bred from Simcoe and Nugget).
On tap at the brewery, 10oz pour will run you $6.
Honey-orange elixir served in a snifter. One-finger head lingers then settles to a 3mm rim of white foam. Moderate amount of lacing coats the glass.
Huge tropical notes of mango, pineapple, oranges. Subtle grapefruit and pine.
The tropical notes hit first then nice subdued piney bitterness. Nice.
Nicely carbonated, a bit sticky aftertaste but oh so smooth for a >9%er.
Danger! This is one smooth DIPA. Could easily forget it packs a huge ABV. At $10 for a 4-pack, competes nicely with Ohio's other hop forward brews: Head Hunter and White Rajah.
Serving type: on-tap
