On tap in a stemmed tulip glass.
A- Pours a dark orange-amber color with a big white head that leaves wide sticky rings of lacing as it goes. Clean and clear, carbonated.
S- Hoppy; citrus, floral, pine, and tropical. Some earthiness, too. Hang in there, the aromas reveal themselves sip by sip.
T- Some bready caramel malts and a spot of honey, no doubt The malts do not back down to all the hoppiness, balanced flavor.
M- Full chewy body, after all, it's @9.4% abv. It's dangerously drinkable as the alcohol is not overpowering...I think. Resinous.
O- The idea of a DIPA/American Amber Ale hybrid came to mind on this one. It works and I like it.
Serving type: on-tap
