Drink by 5/13. Clear copper clarity with a dense one inch white head and lacing starts immediately. I love pouring this hard and enjoy watching the cascading rush of carbonation as the flavor molecules are forced open.
Aroma in the nose is amazing. Juicy fruitti--like a Hi-C fruit punch. Rich, I say, candied dried papaya and guava paste. Floral fragrance and pine cone. Whafts of sweet malt.
All hop forward, like chewing on a grapefruit rind. A plant-like hoppiness and herbal pine. Malt sweetness. Leafy hop lingers on the palate and in the nose.
Subtle dryness makes the next sip as enjoyable as the first. Very smooth-easy drinker. Sticky lacing throughout.
Good job of the West coast style. Mosaic and nugget hops meld well with the honey malt. Simply put, this is a great beer.
