A - Brilliantly clear, deep golden to copper. Nice white head of tiny bubbles that dissipates relatively quickly to surface foam. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Beautiful looking beer.
S - Danky citrus hops up front with a sweet, candy like undertone. Moderate amount of alchohol poking through. Low bready malt notes underneath.
T - Sweet candied citrus flavors with a firm bitterness. Bitter orange peel and some lemon notes. Moderate alcohol sweetness and moderate bready malt. Almost a toasted, resiny hop flavor that comes through.
M - Medium body, with moderate to moderate-low creaminess. Moderate alcohol warmth. Finishes dry with a lingering hop bitterness and some alcohol sweetness in the aftertaste.
O - I really enjoy this beer. It has what I would describe as a toasted dank hop aroma/flavor that I'm getting in more and more new beers lately, so I suspect Mosaic might be the common denominator. For 9.4% ABV and 80 IBUs, a very well balanced Imperial IPA.
