Appearance: It has a nice deep hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves some nice lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of pungent tropical hops (loads of citrus, grapefruit, pineapples, peaches), light pine resins and sweet caramelly malts in the back.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has a loads of tropical notes (citrus, grapefruit, pineapple), a piney/grassy bitterness and some sweet caramelly malts.
Mouthfeel: It has a med/high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with great flavors and aromas.

Thanks to papat444 for the trade
A: Poured thick and foamy with 2 fingers of bone white head over a baltic amber clear brew.
S: Caramelized orange and sweet scent of marmalade followed with fresh cut pine tree, like pine sawdust and fresh sap and finishes clean on the end.
T: Big burst of hoppy bitter orange and grapefruit rind with notes of pine sap - while still smooth and malty. Finish is mild on the hops with smooth malts that hang thick on the tongue.
M: Thick and smooth with a syrup coating and some snappy carbonation on the front.
O: A solid offering for a double IPA that doesn't attempt to reach too far to be overly complex. But rather does a very solid offering of hops with bold malts, a clean and uncomplicated brew.

Poured a dark golden orange body with good head and lace patches with an aroma that can be described as both citric hopped and touches of grapefruit sweetness as well as some caramel/sugary goodness. Medium-bodied beer that goes down easy and has both a citric hop and grape profile that is balanced with some caramel sweet malt for a beer that is both hoppy and sweet. Nothing earth shattering or new in this beer but it sticks to the "rules" and does the style justice.
