12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.
Clear brassy color, tight tiny bubbled lace holds together well. Aromas of citric hops, alcohol, biscuity malt, grass, mint and peach pits. Smooth with an ample crispness, full-ish body. Agressive hop bitternes, warming alcoholic bite, grassy grain and a hint of yeast make for a pretty damn complex brew especially being that the flavor go well together. Herbal citric hop flavor is semi-pungent, maltiness is big enough to hold its own. Finish hoppy and semi-dry.
I think the IPL is a bit of a confused style, one that I like a lot. I've had many that have a similar likeness to a very clean APA or ones like that that are pretty much an Imperial Pilsner. Either way, a whole lot of fun to drink.
