Bottle to pint glass.

A - Gusher out of the bottle. All over the counter and floor. Good thing this is a 750 so there was plenty of beer left to drink. Poured golden yellow with one finger of lightly bubbled off-white head with plenty of carbonation visible.

S - Cloves, yeast, banana, spices and bready malts. Some citrus in the background. Clean and fresh aroma overall.

T - Big clove and spice presence up front with plenty of yeasty esters present. There is also a good bready/grainy presence from the malt base along with banana and a lighter floral flavour in the background. Packs a lot of flavour for the ABV.

M - Light body with some chew. Moderate carbonation.

Share with Rudzud since we bought this together.

Big fizzy head reaches 3 fingers fades quickly very light spotted lacing, clear golden yellow piss slight chill haze, fairly clear for a wit at first, stirring the funk at the bottom gives a bit more haze which helps.

Nose isn't too bad, light toasty grainy malt, light coriander and spices, hint of banana and wheat, light orange zest, lots of wheat that slightly transforms to fresh sweet corn. Really crisp almost too clean and my mind keeps thinking cleaner, but it's not really there.

Taste some wheat, light coriander clove, and other spices, lighter sweetness and some banana, light orange zest, little creamy and some light creamed corn that intensifies on the creamy finish, light coriander and orange zest with light bitterness lingering. Not much of a wit, somewhat a hefe but not much of that either.

Mouth is lighter bodied, some carb but could use more.

Overall OK but not great, again more of a hefe than wit and still not very well done. Surprised with what I heard of this beer.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this beer we got when we went to hunger mountain co op.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal clear golden hue with a nice one finger fuzzy sudsy white head that fades way to fast and leaves hardly any lacing.

S - Uhhh....sweet corn? Seriously, the wheat and such makes me get a sweet corn aroma; not talking adjunct talking straight up farmstamd corn. Light coriander and banana but Yah....corn.

T - ahhh...now there's the banana! Tons of clove and banana with light peppercorn, slight orange zes. This all said....is this truly a witbier or is this a hefe? It tries to dance the line oddly enough.

M - Mouthfeel is average for the style . Nice Carb, still...transcends styles.

O - Overall this was a unique beer with some fun stuff going for it. Weird representation of a style but enjoyable.

Special collaboration between The Bobcat Pub and Brewery and UVM Extension. Utilizes all VT grow ingredients.

Pours a pale white with a frothy head into my glass. Cork was tough to get off but it's worth it!

Light and fluffy with hints of citrus and clove. Very inviting scent. Nothing is out of place.

The taste is what it's all about. Light, crisp and refreshing. Plenty of delicious malt with hints of clove and coriander.

Lingering chewy, buttery malt with little else in the way. Finishes clean.

Very good for a day like this. The malt is obviously very fresh and that factors in big on the score.
