Poured into a snifter.
4.0 A: Clear light orange color. One and a half fingers of white, dense froth head. Retention is average and a decent sized ring of lacing is left.
4.5 S: Surprisingly jampacked with hop aroma. Quite floral with lots of citrus and.... watermelon? Orange, candied orange, and overripened pineapple. Quite clean with just a touch of neutral maltiness. Very nice.
4.0 T: The taste isn't as explosive as the nose, but it's still quite good. Very low bitterness and TONS of watermelon. I can't believe how much watermelon there is and no I'm not reviewing their watermelon beer. Again plenty of orange, a bit sugary, and sweetened pineapple juice. The malts are reserved and only serve to add a touch of balance to the hop flavor.
4.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Extremely creamy for the body. Well done.
4.5 D: I went into this not expecting a whole lot, but this is unequivically a great brew. Solid all around and light enough to put more than a few down in a sitting.
Serving type: can
