A: Attractive shade of golden orange covered by a great white head with pretty good retention.
S: Nice hops, showing some grapefruit and apple, and a caramel malt. Not overly aromatic, but what's there is pretty good.
T: Hoppy and bitter with plenty of grapefruit pith and a touch of toasted malt somewhere in there. Undoubtedly a west coast-style IPA that’s quite bitter, but lacking depth of hop flavors. Too much of one of the harsh varieties of hop (Tomahawk?) for me.
M: Medium-bodied for style with moderate carbonation.
Not bad, but a bit one-dimensional and too bracing to be something I’d come back to much. Still, the packaging is pretty convenient for summer outings.
