Begged a friend to send me some of this when he had an assignment in San Fransisco.
A: Pours from a can into my Southern Star pint glass a slightly hazy golden shade of amber with s foamy cram colored head that leaves small ring of head with sticky lacing.
S: Not the west coast hop bomb I was expecting, spicy, pine, slightly earthy and a blast of tropical citrus, some sweet toasty malt and a hint of alcohol.
T: Bitter grapefruit and tangerines, some pine and a minty herbal spicyness gives this beer alot of hop complexity well balanced with an interesting earthy and toasty malt sweetness. The alcohol is just barely noticable in the semi-dry finish. This is a tasty beer, the multitude of hops are beautifuly layered with the malt making it an incredibly balanced and delicious IPA
M: crisp carbonation yet full enough body so the beer remains smooth and creamy.
D: Despite the 7% this beer is still tremendously drinkable. The complex bitterness does a good job of concealing the alcohol. If thos wasn't so hard for me to get I would drink all six in one sitting.
This is yet annother example of how great craft beer can come in a can!

A-Thin white head. Orange, rich amber body.
S-Nice aroma of citrus and hops. Faint pine.
T-For me, the taste is desirable. A nice balance of hops, citrus, and pine.
M-Crisp, nice dense carbonation in the mouth, medium bodied.
O-This is a very good, middle of the road IPA, in terms of drinkability. Not too light, not too strong. Very drinkable.
Serving type: on-tap
