Pours a crystal clear yellowish orange with a pure white head on top that is frothy, rocky, and retains very well. Leaves exquisite lace and looks milky. Body is static and glassy.
Healthy amounts of candied citrus are evident in the nose, with plenty of caramel and grapefruit everywhere you go. Some pine lies behind the citrus and gives the aroma a very clean element. A bit of pineapple is there with the citrus too.
Taste is very fruity to start, with the pineapple, grapefruit, and some orange too. Caramel and sugary sweetness offers excellent balance and a fair bit of stickiness that lingers to the end. Bitterness finishes the beer out, but isn't strong enough to cut through the sweetness. This beer could have used a bit less malt and a bit more hops, but I still really like it.
Mouthfeel was disappointingly flat, but the beer was full enough bodied to support the flavors. A drier character in the finish would have been nice. Drinkability would have benefited too, but it's still really good thanks to the balance and nice tastes. Definitely will pick up again in the future.

A-Thin white head. Orange, rich amber body.
S-Nice aroma of citrus and hops. Faint pine.
T-For me, the taste is desirable. A nice balance of hops, citrus, and pine.
M-Crisp, nice dense carbonation in the mouth, medium bodied.
O-This is a very good, middle of the road IPA, in terms of drinkability. Not too light, not too strong. Very drinkable.
