This beer poured a golden-yellow color with a fluffy two finger white head that left generous lacing on the glass. On the nose, I get a lot of pine and then a hint of sweetness. There’s also some citrus, but more along the lines of oranges, as opposed to grapefruit. On the taste, I’m taken aback a little. There’s a bit of funk going on in the background that is definitely NOT pleasant. Luckily, I only got it on the first sip. I also got some pine on the taste and a bit of citrus. The carbonation is moderate and pleasant. Grass also comes to the front after having a few sips. The citrus comes out closer to the end with a very mild hint of sweetness. The bitterness isn’t intense either at 70 IBUs. The finish is bitter and lingers on. This is a medium bodied beer and easy to drink. But, this isn’t a favorite beer of mine. There are so many good IPAs that this doesn’t stand out. Not a bad brew by any means, but very pedestrian. Don’t rush out and get it.
